The piece raises questions about the nature of fear and lack of understanding towards what is different- What are the boundaries between the tangible body and the abstract music, where does the movement originate and where does it end.What is quiet? What is noise? And what lies between them and within a cultural and political climate.

Music: Pyotr IIyich Tchaikovsky Choreography- Idan CohenDancers: Reut Levi, Rita Komisarchik, Daniel Gal.The main idea and basic issue in Idan Cohen's "Swan Lake" is to bring to life the different questions of identity behind "Swan Lake", the monumental musical piece of Pyotr IIyich Tchaikovsky which is considered one of the foundation stone of the western culture, music and dance. The meaning of the piece is to shed the "classical" garments out of the story and the dance, and to try and reveal the personal and contemporary story which hides behind it.The dancers are checking persistently their identities, and by their personal stories and biographies each dancer set a sketch of behavioral rules and codes, and designs the space, the other dancers and the new story.The dynamics in the work is an infinite continues routine of tension and changes which leads to a mutual oppression of all individuals who are leaving inside that regime.In this defined area, which behaviors and values would each of the characters carry with them in their endless search of freedom and salvation? Music: Zoviet france, Janis Joplin, The psychic paramount,John lennon.Costume design: Tal MerRehearsal manager: Melanie Berson.Lighting design: Martin Adin.A blurred, sweet bitter ride into the district in-between the desires of the body, pleasure and free love. Even in what might suppose to be our most intimate moments and aspects of human connections and life, the work finds and creates a closed circle that examines from a more geographic point of view sexual behavior, and deals with the question of how it transforms practices.The four dancers - 2 men and 2 women, perform a claim that instead or in addition to a private sexual identity there is also a sexualidentity of a small group."Joy ride" is a work dealing with tackling sexuality, not from the perspective and ownership of the individual, but rather it wishes to examine sexuality to like a closed circle of dynamics which one does not own but is subjected to and is subjecting others to.How does it transform socializing, moral attitudes and discourses concerning what is prohibited, what is aloud and the entirely different location of transgression.The realizing of prohibited forbidden desires, being able to put the personal into the real and being able to confront desires with reality takes a large part in the piece while examining how the most intimate, fearful behavior can flourish in to a strong, vibrant creation.

The piece arouses questions regarding personal identities and cultural behavior opposite animalistic ones, and provokes images of isolation and solitude that are both personal and social.The dancer's character crawls from a restless space, seeking comfort, emerging from its own skin in an inner cycle that does not leave room for any peace or rest.Like an immigrant inside its own self, a foreigner in its own body.

A piece for 3 "drowned dancers" Dancers: Rita Komesarchik, Reut Levi, Daniel Gal.Costume design: Tal MerMusic: F.Shopin, Paulin OliverosRehearsal Manager: Melanie Berson.Has won 2 price in No Ballet choreography competition in Ludwigshafen, Germany 2007. Since 2008 the work is also performed by "Donlon" dance company- Saarbrucken, Germany. Like three sisters, the pressure is building and peaking to a boiling point in which they are driven uncontrollably to feed and digest each others breaths. The work is dealing with the dynamics between these women-A dynamic that provides an ancient mythological social role, like the Classical mythology feminine role of the Graeae and Gorgons. The work is geared towards offering some clues and keys to understand and relate to the characters most inner worlds, challenging their physical and emotional states, to the codes and nuances that ultimately compose their motivation to feel, to move, to be. The search is to try and put the viewer under this unique strong kind of femininity, as influenced by this dynamics, as an individual member of this "society" that inhales these forces. There is no privacy, any intimacy or comfort, and the characteristics of the dynamics are those of asphyxiation, tensions and pressure that can be seen through the body language, the movement and composition in the work.Rather than movement per se, the work uses psychological and cultural landscapes and an intricately detailed and subtle atmosphere to form the backbone of the piece, translating it into corporal images that form a combination of analysis and compassion.
